Online press accreditation for IAA Commercial Vehicles starts – Journalists can now register



With immediate effect journalists from all over the world can now apply online for accreditation to attend the 67th IAA Commercial Vehicles. The IAA is being held in Hanover from 20 September to 27 September 2018. Press Preview Day 19 September, Press and Opening Day: 20 September.

The prerequisite for obtaining the IAA press ticket is a valid press card. The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), organizer of the IAA, is responsible for checking and approving the accreditation. Accreditation in the run-up to the IAA Commercial Vehicles is possible solely online. After the VDA Accreditation Team has checked the documentation, journalists will receive their press ticket and where appropriate their parking permit per e-mail. The window for online accreditation closes on Friday, 14 September 2018.

Accreditation at fairgrounds

On Wednesday, 19 September, and Thursday, 20 September, press accreditation is possible from 7:30 to 18:00 h at the Hanover Fairgrounds, Entrances West 1 and Nord 1, and in the Press Center. The IAA Press Center is located in the Convention Center (CC). Press workplaces equipped with free WiFi will be available there for media representatives. The actual Fairgrounds open at 8:00 h.

From 21 to 27 September accreditation will only be possible in the Press Center. During this period the Accreditation Center will be staffed from 9:00 to 18:00 h.
