NMW Digitaltage

Mar 19, 2019

Last year, a new platform for the exchange between the automotive industry, the digital economy and startups was created when the VDA’s New Mobility World Digitaltage (Digital Days) debuted in Berlin.

Exchange at all levels in the automotive industry

Since 2016, membership to the VDA has become easier for young companies in the digital economy, helping them make use of the association’s various offers. With the creation of the New Mobility World Digitaltage, yet another platform of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) was founded to accelerate the exchange of ideas at all levels in the automotive industry and the digital economy.

This year, the NMW Digitaltage return to Berlin on June 27-28, 2019 and stage the second iteration at the Haus Ungarn.

The two days are packed with about 150 experts discussing opportunities for cooperation between the automotive industry, the tech industry and startups. The New Mobility World Digitaltage is a modern forum for the VDA to support the exchange of ideas on all levels of the automotive industry and the digital economy. In addition to keynote speeches, a panel discussion, and exhibitor pitches, there will also be three full-time workshops running parallel to the on-stage presentations.

Highlights of the programme include VDA President Bernhard Mattes and State Minister for Digitisation Dorothee Bär opening the # NMWDT19 with their view on the challenges of the digital transformation. Afterwards, the podium discussion on “Silicon Valley or Digitaler Mittelstand – Prospects for German Industry” will cover enough ground to offer up new insights. These can then be discussed with fellow attendees at the networking event later in the evening. The complete overview of the topics and formats can be found below in the programme.

Until March 31, 2019, startups and corporates still have the chance to book tickets at an early bird rate, with VDA member companies benefitting continuously from a reduced participation fee.
