NMW Lab19 Startup-Program

NMW Lab brings together the relevant stakeholders of the mobility innovation ecosystem. We facilitate breakthroughs by supporting the development of deep and sustainable cooperations between startups and the German Mittelstand, the wider industry and VCs.

NMW Lab is

  • hosted at Europe’s largest platform for mobility, IAA, with virtually all of German Mittelstand present and
  • located at the center of NMW Expo: the place for the creators of future mobility, and the IAA Conference: the content hub for the entire IAA.

What NMW Lab19 offers

This years’ edition features the following formats:

  • At the industry-owned startup challenge, corporates as problem owners define a challenge they’re faced with. Startups apply as problem solvers.
  • The open startup challenge is your other entry-ticket to NMWLab: select a category that most fits your startup business case and apply.
  • At the IAA, selected startups will be hosted in the Startup Zone – an area dedicated to the entire innovation ecosystem flush at the center of hall 5.
  • Matchmaking formats form the core of the NMW Lab19. Through curated guest lists and focused participant groups we enable valuable interactions and cooperation.
  • All selected startups will also be considered for the IAA Conference – the content hub and center of debate and interaction of the entire IAA.
