Dr. Stefan Carsten is a futurologist and urban geographer in Berlin. As a future critic and advisor, he supports organizations on their way to a better sustainable future. Among other things, he designed new mobility services for Daimler that are used today in cities around the world. As a member of the advisory board of the Federal Ministry of Transport, he develops strategic guidelines for the future of public transport in Germany. He supports the transformation of public space in Berlin on the advisory board of the Reallabor Radbahn. Since 2019 he has been cooperating with the Zukunftsinstitut in Frankfurt am Main, where he publishes the annual Mobility Report. In addition to numerous lectures and lecturing activities, he has a teaching position at the University of Technology in Stuttgart.
