Jochen Sengpiehl (born 1969) has been Chief Marketing Officer of Volkswagen Passenger Cars since 2017, leading global marketing and brand activities for the brand.
He is a business administration graduate and began his career in Sales and Marketing at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Throughout his career he worked in various senior marketing positions at Hyundai Motor Europe, WPP, BBDO, Daimler AG and Volkswagen AG.
During his 20 years in the automotive industry, Mr. Sengpiehl has developed expertise in strategic brand management, advanced product planning and product strategy, marketing communications and digital transformation. His years in management gave him access to an international network of top executives, opinion leaders and key stakeholders in the automotive sector.
