Jean-Christoph Heyne has held the position of Global Head of Future Grids at Siemens Smart Infrastructure since November 2018. Together with his team, Jean-Christoph Heyne is driving transformation in sustainable eMobility for cars, duty vehicles, buses and ships. His areas of responsibility include grid connect & solutions, AC and DC chargers as well as digital charging services. Previously, he was Senior Vice President Strategy in Siemens’ Energy Management Division.
Since 2018 he is actively engaged in the Board of Directors for Fluence Energy - a market leading energy storage system and solution provider (a Joint Venture for AES and Siemens).
After leaving university, he joined Siemens Management Consulting in 2001. Based in Munich, he started his career as a consultant and project manager until 2007 when he moved to China as Head and Vice President at Siemens Management Consulting in Beijing.
