Dr Haya Shulman is one of the leading scientists in cyber security internationally. She studied computer science in Israel and came to Germany after completing her doctorate in 2014. At the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT, she heads the scientific department Cybersecurity Analytics and Defences and is a member of the board of directors of ATHENE, the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity. She is also a visiting professor at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where she heads the Fraunhofer Project Center for Cybersecurity. She also organises the German Israeli Partnership Accelerator GIPA, which brings together young German and Israeli cybersecurity experts. Haya Shulman regularly publishes at top scientific conferences and has received several prizes for her work, most recently the Horst Görtz Foundation's "German IT Security Prize", the most highly endowed prize for cyber security in Germany.
