Ellen Carey Vukotich is the Global Head of Sustainability at Circulor, where she is engages with corporations and policymakers on the sustainability opportunities within complex industrial supply chains.
Ellen has dedicated her career to advocating for clean technologies. Most recently, she was the Director of European Innovation Affairs for Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center, leading global policy and European corporate development.
Prior to Samsung, Ellen was the head of corporate and technology communications for Audi of America, based in Washington D.C. In this role, she defined and led the execution of the company’s strategic narratives for electric, automated and shared vehicles for the U.S. market. She also managed the brand’s corporate communications in the States.
Prior to joining Audi, Ellen was the Vice President of Communications at SAFE and the Electrification Coalition, leading public relations to improve fuel diversity and deploy electric vehicles, especially within cities and fleets.
Ellen’s passion for technology’s potential to improve the world began at the American Wind Energy Association (now the American Clean Power Association), where she held a number of positions, ultimately leading earned media for the trade association and a national campaign during the 2012 election cycle to extend the U.S. federal incentive for wind energy and renewables.
Ellen has a degree in public policy from Villanova University and lives in Munich, Germany.
