Balazs is the Director of Automotive Security Architecture in NXP´s Competence Center for Crypto and Security. As Head of Automotive Security Architecture, it is his responsibility to oversee the architecture definition of microcontroller- and processor-based security solutions for multiple automotive application domains: Connectivity, Driver Replacement, Powertrain and Vehicle Dynamics, Body and Comfort. Before his current assignment, Balazs worked in NXP´s smart card business, developing high security solutions for payment and secure identity applications. Before that he held various management and technical expert positions in the telecommunications and semiconductors industries. He received his MSc degree in Electrical Engineering and Informatics from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
