Annette Mann has been Head of Corporate Responsibility at the Lufthansa Group
since January 2021. In this function, she is driving forward the holistic transformation of the Lufthansa Group on the path to climate-neutral flying. Her mission is to advance knowledge and support for the necessary innovative technological approaches and to develop sustainable product offerings so that it will be possible to discover and connect the world and its cultures without a guilty conscience in the future. It also manages all issues related to the Group's social responsibility, including the non-profit "help alliance" GmbH, which provides education and training for young people worldwide.
Annette Mann began her career at the Lufthansa Group in 2003 through the international trainee program. In various positions in the areas of product management, sales and strategy, she built up a comprehensive understanding of customer-oriented business models. Among other things, she developed today's First Class Generation, was responsible for
the introduction of Premium Economy Class as a new market segment and laid the foundation for a strategic partnership with gategroup as a negotiator of an innovative catering contract worth billions. In 2020, as a member of the corporate crisis team, she was responsible, among other things, for the pandemic-compatible adaptation of customer processes and the establishment of the first test centres at airports.
As an active sailor and diver, she is committed to marine research in her spare time, is a member of "Ocean Care" and supports "The Ocean Conservatory".
