These Bicycle Brand Partners will be at the IAA MOBILITY 2021

In summer 2020, IAA MOBILITY presented their bold vision to bring together all mobility stakeholders – from cycling to automotive and everything in between – and unite them under one roof on their platform. Today, the first cycling brands that have registered to exhibit at the September show can be announced:

Internationally renowned complete bike brands will showcase a wide variety of their products. Both regular and electric models from categories like urban, road, cargo, gravel, MTB and more will be showcased at IAA MOBILITY. The complete bike brands that have confirmed as of today are as follows: Bergamont, Ca Go, Fixie Inc., GasGas Bicycle, Husqvarna E-Bicycles,     R Raymon, Riese & Müller, Scott, Simplon, Specialized, Stromer, QWIC and Votec.

An additional, new product category is chainless pedelecs: both two-wheeled versions like MOCCI (by CIP) and four-wheeled models featuring a weather protection cabin, such as those offered by Bio-Hybrid.

Thanks to the strong B2C focus of IAA MOBILITY – both at the “Open Space” brand- and product experience hubs in the inner-city and at a separate, B2B2C section of the “Summit” at Munich’s trade fair ground – Direct to Consumer brands and large online retailers have also registered as exhibitors at IAA MOBILITY. Examples include ROSE Bikes and Internetstores brands fahrrad.de and Bikester. Digital second-hand shop Rebike will also be present.

Established e-component brands such as Bosch, Brose, Mahle, Valeo and ZF are joined by cycling-only competitor, FAZUA.

In addition to the B2C aspect of IAA MOBILITY, all B2B stakeholders will also be united at the Summit. A wide variety of suppliers will be present, such as battery, display, motor, connectivity, IoT-tech, tires and general hardware manufacturers. More complete bike brands, as well as cycling component companies, will be announced in the coming weeks.

- Gerald Vollnhals, Managing Director

Ca Go

“The Ca Go brand stands for modern urban micromobility. We see ourselves as an innovation-driver in the cargo bike industry and therefore we’ve adopted a #NeverStopChallenging approach to our cross-industry and integrative strategy. The orientation and the experience concept of the IAA therefore convinced us immediately. Now we are very much looking forward to presenting the innovative and multiple award-winning Ca Go FS 200, as well as further innovations, to a mobility-enthusiastic international audience.”

- Matthias Naumann, CMO/Managing Director

FAZUA

“Bicycles, especially e-bikes, are an essential part of modern mobility. We are very pleased that the IAA also shares this assessment and will open their stage for the e-bike industry. Their modern concept and the wide range of products for all interested parties convinced us right from the start. For us, especially in our hometown of Munich, it is the ideal opportunity to present our idea of athletic and sporty e-biking and its associated products. We have a lot planned.”

- Fabian Reuter, Co-Founder

Internetstores (Bikester, fahrrad.de, Fixie Inc., Votec)

“Trade shows like the IAA have a future if they consider themselves to be a platform: as a force that is able, temporarily and for a moment, to focus all the energy and attention of the industry and the public on one topic, and thus generate an impact. This in turn creates sustainable value for all involved.

We are happy to be part of the IAA's courageous evolution with its truly trailblazing concept. As Europe's leading digital bike and outdoor retailer, we are currently developing the most comprehensive service ecosystem for urban mobility via our own innovative power, deep digital expertise and strong strategic partnerships.

The new IAA is something that hasn't been done before and that's exactly our comfort zone. We are looking forward to it!”

- Frank Aldorf, Chief Brand Officer

MOCCI

“With our mobility platform, MOCCI, we are rethinking the interaction between humans and machines in urban spaces. MOCCI's digital pedelec is a new class of vehicle for micro-mobility utility scenarios in a city of the future. As a Munich-based company, we can think of no better opportunity than to share this vision with the public at the IAA Mobility.”

- Dimitrios Bachadakis, CEO of CIP GROUP/MOCCI Co-Founder

Pierer E-Bikes (GasGas Bicycle, Husqvarna E-Bicycles, R Raymon)

“We are looking forward to being part of the first IAA in Munich in 2021. This is also an exciting event for us, as it will be the first leading international trade show to focus on very different players in the field of mobility. This opens up the opportunity for constructive discourse for everyone in equal measure. We are hoping for many sparks of inspiration and, with our participation, we would naturally like to make our contribution to a holistic, well thought-out mobility revolution.”

- Susanne Puello, Managing Director/Sales & Marketing

QWIC

Rebike

“We were immediately attracted to, and excited by, the new concept and the associated reorientation of the IAA 2021 as a future-focused mobility platform. We are convinced that e-bikes are an indispensable part of the mobility turnaround.

Rebike's business model offers the right solution for every need: used, as-new premium e-bikes at a reasonable price, an attractive e-bike subscription model and e-bike rental stations in popular vacation regions. We are looking forward to the opportunity to present our diverse range to visitors at the IAA 2021.”

- Thomas Bernik, CEO

Riese & Müller

“We are very pleased to be a part of the new IAA Mobility. We were particularly impressed by the inclusive and innovative concept of the trade show. IAA Mobility is an important platform for us to present our vision and our products for climate-neutral mobility to an international audience.”

- Heiko Müller, Founder/Managing Director

ROSE Bikes

“Today, mobility means reconciling the basic need to get from A to B as quickly and comfortably as possible with at times competing requirements such as climate protection, increasing the attractiveness of urban living space, and a healthy, sustainable way of life. To achieve this, we need to link the means of transport much more intelligently and make better use of their respective strengths. This can only be done together, and that's why I'm pleased that the IAA is defining itself as a platform for mobility where we, as bicycle manufacturers, can work together with all stakeholders to create customer-centric, sustainable and future-oriented solutions.”

- Thorsten Heckrath-Rose, Managing Director

Scott & Bergamont

“The importance of bicycles has increased enormously in recent years, particularly with regard to the aspects of mobility, sustainability and health. For our brands SCOTT & BERGAMONT, the IAA in Munich offers us the perfect platform to demonstrate that we, in a variety of ways, are an innovative part of this development, and are actively helping to shape it.”

- Hans Holzinger, General Manager DE/AUT

Simplon

“We are excited about the launch of this innovative concept, which has the potential to become a leading international mobility trade fair. We think the IAA Mobility is the ideal place to present the Austrian premium brand SIMPLON – and our innovative, highly technical bicycles – to a broad audience and allow them to experience our products. We think the trade fair is very well thought out and that it can create a bridge across many forms of mobility in an attractive location. The future of mobility must be inclusive, allow people freedom and not deteriorate into conflict, but rather transform different means of transportation into a coordinated and respectful coexistence in the interest of both ourselves and the planet. We would like to contribute to this.”

- Stefan Vollbach, CEO

Specialized

“For us as a premium bike brand, the IAA has created a great platform for bringing the potential of the bicycle closer to a broad, international audience thanks to its new orientation. As an innovation driver in this industry, it is natural that making our e-bike technology tangible, and the added benefits this brings for society, is close to our hearts. That's why visitors to the IAA will be able to test our turbo e-bikes extensively on-site and convince themselves of this sustainable form of transportation. Whether they are for commuting, shopping, or recreational riding, e-bikes are an indispensable part of tomorrow's mobility.”

- Michael Richter, Managing Director Germany

Stromer

“Stromer is the future of commuting for distances between 10 and 30 km in urban/suburban environments. The IAA's new concept, with the 10 km "experience track" and open approach for all mobility stakeholders, means it is the best possible platform for us to present our products to visitors and have them experience the difference.”

- Jakob Luksch, CEO
