After Work Day - Want to see and experience the newest innovations at the IAA 2019 after work? The IAA 2019 makes it possible! On Friday, 20 September 2019, the first After Work Day at the IAA is taking place. On this day, the IAA is opened from 11.00am to 09.00pm.
Hessischer Mobilitätskongress - Today, for the 17th time, the “Hessischer Mobilitätskongress” took place. With high-level speakers like Christine Eisenmann, Team Leader Transforming Automobility, Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR), Tarek Al-Wazir, Hessian Minister for Economy, Energy, Traffic, and Housing, as well as VDA President Bernhard Mattes, the congress dealt with the topic “Autonomous and Digital - how does Artificial Intelligence Change Mobility?”
“Do we still need an ‘own car’?” - This was the topic of a panel in the Debate Forum at the IAA Conference on Sunday. The discussion is available to stream (in German):
carIT, USA, Taxes, Purchasers - On Tuesday, the IAA 2019 will again offer interesting trade events. The first event is the carIT Congress. Another highlight is the IAA-USA-Day, organized by AmCham Germany, Atlantik-Brücke and VDA - with the President of Atlantik Brücke Sigmar Gabriel, among others. Must-gos for all interested visitors are also the purchasers’ day, organized by the Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME) and the VDA as well as “Cars and Taxes - Fiscal challenges through interconnectedness of supply chains in the automotive industry.”
