Mobileye, the Israeli subsidiary company of Intel, will take part in the IAA MOBILITY – and will use the Blue Lane to present four of its vehicles.
Mobileye creates and develops driving assistance systems that are based on optical technologies. They are supposed to avoid any possible collisions by giving out warnings. The company was founded in 1999 and is currently equipping Audi and BMW vehicles with its systems – among others: overall, it is cooperating with more than 25 car manufacturers. In 2020, Mobileye was even given permission to test drive autonomous cars on German streets and it is now working with several manufacturers on brining this technology to the streets.
Visitors of the IAA can experience just how highly developed those technologies already are: four vehicles that are equipped by Mobileye will be available to drive on the Blue Lane.
IAA MOBILITY is transforming itself from a pure car show to an international mobility platform with four pillars: The Summit, the Conference, the “Blue Lane” and the downtown Munich Open Space. Under the slogan of “What will move us next”, it stands for the digital and climate-neutral mobility of the future. From 7 to 12 September 2021, the car, bike and tech industries come together at IAA MOBILITY in Munich.
