Shortly before the start of the IAA MOBILITY, the Munich-based analytics software manufacturer Twaice (Hall 2, Stand A21), which is represented at the world's largest mobility trade fair, has announced its cooperation with the American company Analog Devices. The focus is on the key technology of modern mobility on the way to zero emissions: batteries.
Precise battery analytics a problem so far
The industry needs an accurate assessment of battery performance and lifetime, but that is exactly what has been a problem so far. "Precise data combined with advanced predictive battery analytics will shed light on what is critical to unlocking undiscovered potential along the entire value chain," says Dr. Stephan Rohr, co-CEO of TWAICE.
Twaice will bring to this collaboration its expertise in predictive analytics software that optimizes both the development and operation of lithium-ion batteries. Twaice can thus provide critical insights into battery performance. By integrating Analog Devices' sensor and communication systems and the resulting predictions, qualified statements about the battery's value and usability are guaranteed at any point in its lifecycle.
Warranty risks and risk of recalls are reduced
The combination of Analog Devices' state-of-the-art sensor technology and wireless connectivity with TWAICE's battery analysis software will help to significantly reduce warranty risks and recalls, optimize battery life and increase battery value.
The specific goal of the collaboration is to provide an end-to-end solution with advanced battery measurements via a wireless battery management system.
