These companies are exhibiting right in the city center

May 27, 2021

IAA MOBILITY is taking to the starting-line on September 7 with a completely new concept. Visitors can not only see the digital and climate-neutral mobility of the future in the Open Space – they can touch it and try it out. Here are the exhibitors showing in Munich’s city center.

IAA MOBILITY in Munich is the world’s first mobility trade show where bikes, cars and digital companies are all represented. Under the slogan of “What will move us next”, the city center is serving as an Open Space for an outdoor exhibition where innovations can be experienced in an entirely new way: “With the Open Space, IAA Mobility 2021 is opening up for the entire population. All the innovations in mobility can be experienced close up, on the most attractive squares in Munich,” says Clemens Baumgärtner, Head of the City Administration’s Labor and Economic Development Department.

Car manufacturers such as Ford, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and BMW will be there, as will the automotive suppliers Bosch and Webasto, along with bike manufacturers such as Riese & Müller, ROSE Bikes, Canyon, Hercules and the bike retailer Zweirad-Einkaufsgemeinschaft (ZEG).

The aim of the Open Space is also to offer an open dialog with those working in urban development: “With IAA MOBILITY, we are bringing the mobility of the future directly to the city center and initiating an open and constructive dialog,” says Baumgärtner.
