From high-profile keynotes to informative master classes, Facebook will enrich the IAA MOBILITY with a diverse program. Speakers include Facebook's Vice President Central Europe, Angelika Gifford, Global Head of Automotive, Arash Yomtobian, and Country Director DACH, Tino Krause. The keynotes will revolve around the challenges of marketing and selling e-cars, building a full-funnel digital business, and the opportunities presented by new technologies such as virtual reality. The masterclasses will provide inspiration and practical guidance on digitalization, electrification, branding and augmented reality (AR) in the automotive and mobility industry.
As a full-funnel marketing solution, Facebook opens up the possibility for brands and companies to reach their goals via the marketing funnel across the entire Facebook app family, which also includes Instagram and WhatsApp, and to place their messages in a targeted manner.
"We are excited to come together with the greatest minds in the industry to exchange thought leadership and ingenuity. With the transportation sector being one of the leading influencers of climate change after animal agriculture, our collective is adeptly positioned to pave way for transformation in mobility and beyond. Looking forward to learning from all of the innovators at the IAA." says Arash Yomtobian.
Hildegard Müller, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) adds, "The future of mobility will be shaped by both the digitization and networking of vehicles. The IAA MOBILITY is an essential milestone in the transformation phase of tomorrow's mobility. We are particularly pleased that Facebook is the official cooperation partner of the IAA MOBILITY 2021."
The partnership with Facebook represents a future-shaping added value of this year's IAA MOBILITY - the networking of key players from the tech and mobility industry. At the IAA MOBILITY Conference, more than 500 international speakers and a large professional audience from the mobility and digital industries, scientists, representatives from politics and society will exchange ideas on the sustainable, technological and urban transformation of mobility. 1000 international exhibitors, partners and visionary speakers will be on site for six days. A total of 17 mobility topics will be discussed in more than 100 sessions on four stages.
Current insights from the industry show a clear trend: the future of mobility will be characterized by the digitalization and networking of vehicles. New opportunities and business areas are opening up for many companies, from AI-based Industry 4.0 and electromobility to smart data analytics with an automated approach to digital marketing, innovative automation or intelligent assistance systems.
