From its kickoff in Munich, the IAA MOBILITY sees itself as an international platform for dialogue between startups, major investors, representatives of the political sector, and international partners. Trade visitors to the IAA MOBILITY especially can be inspired by the new ideas generated by the startups and get talking to them. Nearly 76 startups have registered as exhibitors to the IAA MOBILITY and will occupy four attractive areas at the center of the main visitor routes.
Together with Bits & Pretzels, Europe′s top festival for founders, the IAA MOBILITY Founders Day will be kicked off by Siemens on Sept. 9. Under the patronage of Judith Gerlach, Minister of State for Digital Affairs, the Table Captain format will enable founders to meet investors, venture capital providers and angel investors from the Bits & Pretzels network. This networking format is exclusive and free of charge for all startups registered at the IAA MOBILITY 2021. It offers the young companies the unique chance to network with big-name investors.
Things will be more exclusive, and a bit more casual, at the IAA MOBILITY Founders Night hosted by IAA MOBILITY and Bits & Pretzels starting at 6:30 p.m. The presiding partner Siemens is hosting the event at its headquarters on Wittelsbacher Platz in the Open Space. After a few words of welcome from Judith Gerlach and an inspiring keynote speech, the Flying Buffet – the most important networking opportunity for startups in the mobility industry – will be opened. It′s best to register early: attendance is limited to 150 founders, investors and corporate players.
The startups will also make their mark, act as catalysts, and showcase their innovative concepts and products in the exhibition buildings of IAA MOBILITY. The management consulting firm PwC has created a unique innovation ecosystem for mobility startups and corporates – a necessary step since hardly any other industry faces an upheaval of this magnitude. This situation calls for innovative ideas and solutions – exactly what startups can offer.
The startup Initiative #NextLevel from PwC Germany wants to initiate and facilitate cooperative projects of this kind. In the spring of 2021, for example, the IAA MOBILITY Startup Challenge – sponsored by Next Level PwC! – got underway. Together with established companies, PwC has pinpointed urgent questions for the mobility industry and asked startups to provide the answers. Discover the future ideas submitted by the finalists in PwC Germany′s #NextLevel IAA MOBILITY Startup Challenge 2021 on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at the Sustainability Lounge in Hall B3.
