How important are Christian values for technological progress? Participants will consider the social challenges raised by the digitization in light of the New and Old Testaments commandments. The Master Class will be hosted by Dr. Karl Teille with the kind support of Christians in the Automotive Industry (CAI).

09:00 - 11:00: BatteryMBA (Academic Master Class)

Learn from industry leaders. The BatteryMBA is a CPD-accredited course and targets battery enthusiasts with technical backgrounds who want to transition into industry or expand their knowledge. The Master Class will be presented by Dr. Simon Engelke with the kind support of Battery Associates.

12:00 - 14:00: AI-ethics in Mobility (Academic Master Class)  

Autonomous vehicles are the future. But the technical development also raises ethical questions: What risks arise in mixed traffic? How should highly automated cars "decide" autonomously in dilemma situations? And what ethical guidelines do we need for the technology? In this Master Class, participants will discuss the ethical challenges of using artificial intelligence in mobility. The  course is presented by TH Ingolstadt and the Almotion/AININ Institute.

13:30 - 14:30: On the Way to the Net-Zero Car (Corporate Master Class)

From a technological point of view, emission-free driving is not a daydream. But what is the key for decarbonizing the entire automotive supply chain en route to the truly 'net zero car'? This Master Class takes a deep dive into the supplier and production environment. The Master Class will be hosted with the kind support of the Boston Consulting Group.

In this Master Class experts introduce, compare and evaluate different types of future-oriented propulsion technologies in view of their potential to fulfill the requirements of carbon-neutral mobility and discuss with the participants the effects of the ongoing transition process on the automotive industry. 12:00 - 13:00: The Beauty of Car-to-X: New Business Models along the Aautomotive Customer Journey (Corporate Master Class)

Data-enabled services that focus on improving customer experience can unlock new potentials for OEMs. This Master Class takes participants along the customer journey to explore new and exciting opportunities and ideas. 12:00 - 14:00: The Gaming-ecosystem as a Aource of Innovation for R&D in Mobility Industries (Academic Master Class)

In this Master Class, relevant aspects of safety assurance are systematically explained by experts. Today's cities are facing a turning point. How can urban transport policy be reformed to allow for better accessibility in cities while directly addressing the triple crisis of a global health, climate and social justice emergency? In this Master Class, participants will learn more about the transformation of urban transport in times of climate change, corona pandemic and social disruption. The Master Class will be hosted by Prof. Dr. Philipp Rode with the kind support of the London School of Economics and Insitute for Mobility and the University of St. Gallen.

12:00 - 14:00: Mobility Innovators and Ecosystem – The China Perspective (Academic Master Class)

Enthusiasm for technological progress, such as digitalization, artificial intelligence and electromobility, makes China the blueprint for the automotive world In this Master Class, we will elaborate on the latest developments of Chinese mobility tech companies and particularities of Chinese consumers and the regulatory environment. The case of Nio, the largest Chinese domestic NEV manufacturer, will be discussed in-depth. The Master Class will be hosted by Dr. Hans-Peter Kleebinder with the kind support of Tongji University.
