The Managing Board of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) confirmed that the IAA MOBILITY 2021 will go ahead in September, including all its various formats. The response from the media during the last few days has also been very positive.
The preparations are continuing at full speed. The VDA and Messe München are very much looking forward to the presentations of the exhibitors at the IAA MOBILITY 2021 at the new location in Munich and with new formats such as the Blue Lane or the Conference.
The response from the media during the last few days has also been very positive. The Exhibition World reports that "Germany's auto industry association gives go-ahead for Munich IAA auto show in September" and states "the restart in 2021 is expected to be a key event for the image of the industry". But the new IAA MOBILITY is even more. The exhibitors also believe in a successful event. Numerous exhibitors have already registered, and the new concept is proving very popular.
In a statement the Managing Bard of the VDA confirmed:
The IAA MOBILITY can and will take place – of this we are certain, and we are fully committed to the event. The IAA MOBILITY will only be a success if you participate. To minimize your financial risk, if the IAA MOBILITY is canceled by the VDA we will waive the cancelation fee of 10% of the stand rent. We will reimburse you the full amount of stand rents that have already been paid.
Given the forecasts of falling infection rates and increasing vaccination figures in the summer months, the IAA MOBILITY 2021 will take place as a physical, face-to-face event with a digital extension, and a hygiene strategy will be applied. The VDA and Messe München are in constant contact with scientists, businesses and policymakers. In view of the estimates, the summer months from June to September 2021 are regarded as the best time for holding events. The IAA is hugely important as a platform showcasing the path to climate-neutral mobility.
