Key international stakeholders such as TÜV SÜD, CATARC, IEEE, SAE International, VdTÜV, DIN, AVL, NVIDIA and many more teamed-up under a very unique membership-based non-profit entity in order to share best practices and work-out joint meta-standards, specification documents and whitepapers with the objective to accelerate and harmonize standardization for safe and scalable deployment of connected and automated vehicles (CAV). You will get an insight from Alexander Kraus (TÜV SÜD) on how the work is done within defined working groups is technology-neutral and independently from regional interests, but with sheer focus on understanding and defining the required infrastructures, tools, methodologies and KPIs for prooving CAVs safe for market deployment. The alliance closely partners with existing collaborations such as The Autonomous, ASAM and AVSC. The unique setup and so far outputs of the alliance will be presented as well as further roadmap.
