  • Smart City / Urban Mobility
In order to achieve the climate protection targets in the transport sector, a consistent shift to climate-friendly modes of transport is required. One major field of action of the German Center for Future Mobility is commuter traffic from the region to metropolitan areas. As regularly recurring transports, they have a fundamentally high potential to be taken over by public transport. At the Open Data Stage of the Mobilitython, Karlsruhe as a model region will discuss plans for convincing users to leave their cars behind.
