Charging of autonomous electric vehicles – A showcase by Siemens and Einride by Tomas Ohlson & Dr. Stefan Perras

On top of the already apparent trend to electrify transport, autonomy will take center stage over the next decade. One of the unanswered questions is, how autonomous vehicles will be charged when there is no driver present? Siemens has developed an autonomous fast charging station and has showcased it together with the fully autonomous truck developed by Einride.
