In recent years, the ""IAA-India-Day"" has become an integral part of Indo-German cooperation, a meeting place for discussion and interaction. Representatives from the mobility and technology sectors, politics and business come together to have a political-social and cross-industry exchange within the framework of the IAA.
The IAA India Day has become a tradition and thus an expression of the close partnership between Germany and India. This strong partnership is based on the valuable work done within the framework of the ""Indo-German Working Group on Automotive"" and the VDA's partnership with the Indian suppliers' association ACMA and the manufacturers' association SIAM, which is supported by the German government.
This year's IAA Mobility presents itself with a new event concept in Munich, combining exhibition, forward-looking mobility platform and dialog forum.
As part of this new IAA Mobility, the 13th IAA India Day will take place on September 09, 2021 from 08:30 to 10:30, this time digitally. Under the title ""Empowering Indo-German Automotive Business - which framework is needed?"", the current state of the automotive industry in India and Indo-German cooperation will be presented. A high-level discussion on the necessary future framework conditions will be moderated by VDA and AHK India.
