The first visitors‘ weekend of the IAA 2019 started today.
First IAA Weekend for the General Public has started - Today the IAA 2019 has opened for the general public. Around 60,000 visitors strolled around the most important international mobility platform, as announced by VDA President Bernhard Mattes. In total, 175,000 people have visited the IAA 2019. The IAA Experience has been one the highlights for the visitors - Test Drive, Offroad Parcours, the E-Move-Track, and other formats have been met with great interest and can still be experienced in the coming days.
“How ‘green’ is the E-Car really?” - This question was at the center of a discussion in the Debate Forum at the IAA Conference. Host Jonas Gerding discussed the topic with Markus N. Beeko, General Secretary, Amnesty International Germany, Dr. Anton Hofreiter, Leader of the Alliance '90/The Greens in the Bundestag, Dr. Dirk Kesselgruber, President Business Division Chassis Systems, Schaeffler AG, and Birgit Priemer, Editor in Chief auto motor und sport, Motor Presse Stuttgart GbmH & Co. Last day of the New Mobility World - Tomorrow is the last day of the New Mobility World at the IAA 2019 and the last chance to experience pioneers, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers of the mobility of tomorrow. Visitors can get inspiration from ideas and innovations in the areas of urban mobility, mobility as a service, clean and sustainable mobility as well as connectivity and automation. Including exciting discussions in the Debate Forum!
