Arrival

Plan your journey to the Messegelände in Frankfurt am Main with our practical tips about using the various means of transport.

Arrival by car or coach

Within reach of the IAA, all relevant highway exits (e.g. A5, Frankfurt West/Messe) and streets leading towards the IAA visitor parking lots are signposted by the IAA guidance system. This car traffic guidance by the police responds dynamically to road capacities and parking lots. Therefore following personal/individual GPS devices to reach the trade fair grounds is not recommended within the metropolitan area. Please do not head for parking lots without following the IAA traffic guidance signage. It is instead preferable to follow the IAA signage and the IAA service personnel along the way. The IAA visitor parking lots are located outside Frankfurt´s Environmental Emission Zone and can be used without an official emission zone permit (exception: lot “Gleisdreieck”).

If you plan to come to the IAA in an electric vehicle and need to charge it, we’ll be happy to help you. Visitors’ charging points will be available in the Rebstock parking garage close to the exhibition grounds. Charging up is free so you will only have to pay the regular parking fee. All the charging stations have Type 2 connectors. As places are limited, we kindly ask you to register in good time by emailing us at emobil@messefrankfurt.com.
