Arrival by car or coach
Within reach of the IAA, all relevant highway exits (e.g. A5, Frankfurt West/Messe) and streets leading towards the IAA visitor parking lots are signposted by the IAA guidance system. This car traffic guidance by the police responds dynamically to road capacities and parking lots. Therefore following personal/individual GPS devices to reach the trade fair grounds is not recommended within the metropolitan area. Please do not head for parking lots without following the IAA traffic guidance signage. It is instead preferable to follow the IAA signage and the IAA service personnel along the way. The IAA visitor parking lots are located outside Frankfurt´s Environmental Emission Zone and can be used without an official emission zone permit (exception: lot “Gleisdreieck”).
Charging electric vehicles
If you plan to come to the IAA in an electric vehicle and need to charge it, we’ll be happy to help you. Visitors’ charging points will be available in the Rebstock parking garage close to the exhibition grounds. Charging up is free so you will only have to pay the regular parking fee. All the charging stations have Type 2 connectors. As places are limited, we kindly ask you to register in good time by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note, at the second IAA weekend (Sep 23 and 24), there will be additional IAA parking spaces at the multi storey car park „The Squaire“ at Frankfurt airport (FRA). Please watch out for the relevant signs to the IAA parking spaces at the airport. From there, you will reach the trade fair grounds by suburban railway (S-Bahn). On these two days, the additional parking spaces will be integrated into the dynamic traffic guidance of the police.
The parking places for coaches are available directly next to the trade fair grounds. To get there, please head either towards gate 9 (Tor 9) or to gate West (Tor West). From there you can use the bus parking place south west of the trade fair grounds.
