A platform for cooperation between the United States and Germany and Europe. Keynote by Sigmar Gabriel, Chairman of Atlantik-Brücke e.V.

Keeping up strong transatlantic relations has become as important as ever before. At this year’s International Motor Show, we would like to use the opportunity to provide the public with a platform for cooperation between the United States and Germany and Europe.

VDA-President Bernhard Mattes will welcome our guests and give a brief overview over the automotive industry.

The keynote will be held by Sigmar Gabriel, Chairman of Atlantik-Brücke and former German Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Gabriel is very well acquainted with transatlantic relations, not least due to his experience as Minister of Economic Affairs during the negotiations of international Free Trade Agreements such as TTIP and CETA.

A high-level panel discussion on transatlantic cooperation will follow after his speech. With this discussion we would like to promote current and future projects of transatlantic cooperation in light of transformation of the automotive sector, as well as related industries.

The lunch reception will give guests the opportunity to network.

Participation at IAA-USA-Day 2019 is free of charge. Please register in advance at the following link: www.iaa.de/usa
