Kurt Sievers is president of NXP Semiconductors, the world’s largest semiconductor supplier for the automotive industry and a leader in secure connectivity for the IoT. He is also the managing director of NXP Germany GmbH. After getting his master’s degree in physics and Information Technology, Kurt Sievers began his career in 1995 at Philips Semiconductors. He became general manager of the car radio business. After the founding of NXP in 2006, he was responsible for strategy and business development in the Automotive & Secure Identification business. From 2009 until September 2018, Kurt Sievers joined NXP’s executive board as the general manager of its Automotive Division.
