Michael Fischer originally took a professional education as a real estate agent. Rather by chance he got into communication in 2000 and worked in two different PR agencies before studying Public Relations and Business Administration at the Free University of Berlin from 2003 to 2007. After a subsequent four-year career as an editor and PR consultant for real estate and fund topics, he joined DriveNow, the car sharing company of BMW and Sixt, in 2011. At DriveNow, he initially headed up the Berlin office and built up parallel press and political work for DriveNow. As a company spokesman, he was responsible for the German-speaking, and from 2014 also the international communication. Since February 2017, Fischer has been responsible for press.
