Artisense offers cutting edge computer vision products for real-time localization, mapping and navigation of autonomous vehicles. The Vision-aided Inertial Navigation System (VINS) developed by Artisense provides continuous and accurate global 3D positions in real-time without relying on GNSS.  The VINS enables the autonomous vehicles of our customers to be robustly tested and operated in all environments – even in GNSS denied and sparsely textured environments.  Artisense was founded in 2016 as a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) by Prof. Daniel Cremers and Andrej Kulikov and has offices in Munich, Palo Alto and Tokyo.
