VDA does not cooperate with the Organization Expo Guide

Expo Guide, S.C. – unauthorized IAA-Catalogue

The VDA, as editor of the IAA-Catalogue for Cars Frankfurt/Main, wishes to draw your attention to the following:

The company Expo Guide, S.C. contacts exhibitors of the IAA via a letter, in which the addressee is requested to update its company data in the „Expo Guide Register for Exhibitors“.

In the letter the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) is mentioned being the organizer of the IAA Cars in Frankfurt/Main which is of course perfectly right. However, the letter is being sent to the exhibitors without knowledge or consent of the VDA, so that the erroneous impression could be created that the VDA agrees with Expo Guide´s proceeding.

As a precaution, we would like to point out that by signing the letter of the Expo Guide, SC is granted an order to publish the respective company data over a period of three years as an advertisement. We advise all exhibitors to examine the submitted documents from this or similar companies carefully.

The VDA explicitly distances himself from the actions of Expo Guide, SC.

The official catalogue will be issued by Messe Frankfurt Medien und Service GmbH on behalf of the VDA.
